Kapchigai lake, girls and the banana
So, after waking up not in my bed just before 9, we were just about to leave with a bus with a few members from KISA (the student organization which takes care of international students) and most of the exchange students, plus 2 nice girls from Turkmenistan, who just started to study here full time. Fukses. :)
We went to the Kapchigai Lake, which took about 1-1.5 hours north from Almaty. What can I say - I finally have holidays! It was awesome - the weather is great, sunny and hot (only the sand was so hot that you can hardly stand on it), the beach was also great, and the lake itself is so huge that you cannot even see the other coast. The water is, my guess, some 22 degrees or even more, ”tioplyi chai” so to say. Ah yes, my russian is getting better in hours, I had more russian practice over these 3 days than I had over 2 years in Riga. For example, I am talking with my compadre Rufina in russian some 80% of the time, and I have chatted with 2 friendly local guys while swimming in the lake for some 10 minutes, 100% Russian, and we both fully understood each other! :)
The day was great, though it wasn't just the lake that was so great. The most important thing is that we finally met most of the other exchange students, and they are really awesome people, as well as there are some nice girls! :) And I don't waste time and start “working on them”, how I call it. For example, there is this very nice 22 year old girl from Hungary, named Kinga. So she will show me how to do laundry in the dorms after I finish this entry. Also, there is a Master student (don't know the age yet, but she said that everyone calls her “babushka” here - fine with me, I like older girls) Loan from Vietnam, with whom we will go for some dog hunting tonight (probably just a walk), cause she got inspired by my big desire to try out dog meat, and Vietnam is #1 country in the world of eating dogs. Also, I mentioned these 2 nice 19 year old girls from Turkmenistan, Ira and Ayna, who will also join for laundry, and who will make me some homemade turkmen dish, and I will make them my chicken fillet. And I talk mostly in russian with them, or at least try to.
What was the most fun part of staying near the lake was when we decided to take a ride with the inflated BANANA, which is dragged by a motored boat. It costed 10 LTL per person, and we rided it for about 15-20 minutes - me, Peteris, Ira, Ayna, Kinga and Coja (or something similar, a girl from South Korea). Yeah, I know that there are such attractions in our country as well, but hey, I never tried it before, and it was just awesome! :) Now I am back in dorms, as I said, and another interesting dorms-evening awaits. Praise the person who invented dormitories, I could live in them all my life. Or at least these 4 months for sure. Below are pictures from the beach with all those who were there, and also seperately with the banana girls. On the banana photo people from the left: Ayna, Peteris, Ira, me, Kinga, Coja and Saja (Uzbek, full time studying here).

Oh, and I just checked Financial Economics reexam results - I failed! 59 points (improvement of 22 points from first exam). Dammit, January and February just got marked out from my life. But this time I will pass, I f***ing promise. Meanwhile, perfect holidays in Kazakhstan continue. :)
Rodyk draugams
O, Mariau. Ar ne laikas šiek tiek pasportuoti bei pasideginti, nes rudosios vietinės merginos nežiūrės? :/
P.S. taip, ta, prie kurios arčiau stovi, geresnė :) Cheers
o tai ka tu manai as dabar darysiu? eisiu i boksa, sporto sale ir deginsiuos karstoje Kazakhstano sauleje. Nors ir be to viskas ok, vidum reikia suzaveti, o ne isore. :)
Labas. Nesuviduriuok nuo šuniukų mėsos! Merginos tai kaip iš grožio konkurso, - galva tau apsisuks. Bet ir smagu gi ten! Kaip turkmėniški patiekalai? Siųsk receptus.
I see that the book you read before leaving is really helpful. Doing laundry? Hmm…reminds me something :) Should I really come with that seminar? :)
O ziuriu tavo apatiniai (mano nuomones situ klausimu nepakeisi!) tinka visiems gyvenimo atvejams- ir i kalnus, ir i pliaza…:)
I hope you didn't hunt dogs in reality… :o

An intriguing discussion is worth comment. I believe which you should really write a lot more on this topic, it could possibly not be a taboo subject but generally people today aren’t sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

My website covers a lot of the same subjects as yours and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other. If you happen to be interested feel free to shoot me an e-mail. I’m not sure exactly why but this weblog is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything.
